Joshua is responsible for a variety of operations and digital strategy initiatives, with a special focus on the Aptus Engine Platform. He is passionate about the intersection of finance and technology and delivering great customer experiences.
Background & Education
Prior to Aptus, Joshua served as Chief Operating Officer at Scalio, a digital product studio that built world-class custom software for clients such as Google, Uber, Airbnb, and other leading companies. He also co-founded Particle Capital, a financial technology platform focused on regulated crowdfunding and private market investments. In 2024, he led both companies through a successful acquisition.
Joshua holds an MBA from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Georgia. He also served as Vice President of Alabama’s Net Impact chapter.
Outside of the Office
Joshua lives in Roswell, GA, with his wife, Andrea, and a spunky cat named Cher. He is a big sports fan, especially of Alabama football and the Falcons, and enjoys playing golf and basketball.
He is the keyboardist in a local Atlanta band and enjoys traveling, especially to the Smoky Mountains or anywhere tropical.
