Christopher G. Neill, CFA | Director of Institutional Relationships

Background & Education

Chris helps build an institutional practice for Aptus, utilizing substantial experience in consultant relations, relationship management, and sales/distribution along with his prior background in investment research/portfolio management.

Chris has served as the Director of Institutional Sales for Jensen Investment Management, Director of Institutional Relationships at Thomas White International, Senior Portfolio Strategist at Thornburg Investment Management, and as Vice President/Portfolio Manager at Putnam Trust (a Division of BNY Asset Management).

He graduated with an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School in 2000 and holds a BS in Economics/Finance from the Andreas School of Business from Barry University where he was the valedictorian in 1995. He also was an NCAA Academic All-American and played a season of professional baseball with the Welland Aquaducks (single A for the Toronto Blue Jays Organization).

Outside The Office

Chris resides in Lake Oswego, Oregon with his wife, Wendi, and their two boys, Sutton and Lachlan. He enjoys music, sports, and international travel.
