Micah Lucas
Micah oversees the technology department and manages the engineering team. He is passionate about system architecture and focuses on simplicity in design.
Prior to Aptus, Micah served as Chief Technology Officer at Scalio, a digital product studio that built world-class custom software for clients such as Google, Uber, Airbnb, and other leading companies. He also co-founded Particle Capital, a financial technology platform focused on regulated crowdfunding and private market investments. In 2024, he led both companies through a successful acquisition.
Micah holds a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Alabama and currently lives in Atlanta. He enjoys reading, backpacking, and exploring new places. He’s a big fan of Alabama football and believes in the future of Bitcoin.
